A modern, comfortable single-level home on a quiet treet, with peaceful harbour and hill views. Two Queen bedrooms plus a King-single room, and two bathrooms with heated towel rails, make it a relaxed base for a family or a group of friends — and with no stairs, it's easy for everyone.
It's well set up: a contemporary kitchen with a Nespresso machine and milk frother, a large TV with Netflix, a private backyard and a gas BBQ on the deck for long summer evenings. Electric blankets on
every bed keep winter cosy.
You'll have the whole property to yourselves, with off-street parking, just a 10-minute drive from Akaroa's beaches, shops, cafés and restaurants.
Please note: this property is not suitable for children under 12, as the (compliant) deck does not have safety rails. The owners also occasionally bring their cats when they stay, which may matter for guests with allergies.
All beds are made up with clean, fresh and quality linens. We also provide all toweling for your stay.

A large deck with harbour and hill views and a gas BBQ, plus a grassed backyard and outdoor dining area. (Note: the deck does not have safety rails, so the property isn't suitable for under-12s.)

THIS PLACE IS A GEM!!! The house is big and very comfortable, it’s also loaded with everything you need, PLUS THE VIEW IS AMAZING!!!!! You can just sit comfortably in the living room and enjoy the scenery 😍💕 It’s also in great location, middle area where you can go to Akaroa City Centre or Duvaucelle area 🙌🏼 one more thing they have alots of puzzles, board game and books so really alots of things to do, the kitchen is a dream, you will cook happily 🥰 I WILL A 100% GO TO DUVAUCHELLE AGAIN SOMEDAY JUST TO STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
Beautiful restful home with a gorgeous view. Beds are lovely, very well laid out, kitchen had everything you need and the furniture was really comfortable. Definitely recommend
House was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and we appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. We had a relaxing and hassle-free few days away and would happily recommend the house to people.
