Selwyn Heights has an elevated view overlooking Akaroa out to the harbour: a fully-fenced deck that opens straight onto the harbour. It's a single-level home, so there are no stairs to manage, which makes it easy for families, older guests and dogs alike.
The living area, kitchen and bedrooms were recently renovated and are bright and comfortable, with a large TV and plenty of room to relax after a day exploring the peninsula. Two double bedrooms (both Queen) sleep four, and you'll have the entire property to yourselves — no shared spaces, no other guests.
Everything is set up for easy self-catering, but you're only a short walk or drive from Akaroa's beaches, cafés, bars, restaurants and cinema when you'd rather be looked after. Off-street parking is included.
All beds are made up with clean, fresh and quality linens. We also provide all toweling for your stay.

The lounge, kitchens, and bedrooms had everything we needed for a weekend away. The house is a short walk to the village and has lovely views from the deck. The heat pump was on when arrived, and we appreciated the house being toasty warm. The bathroom isn’t of the same standard as the rest of the house, but it was adequate. This is a cute wee place in a lovely peaceful location.
